We are a community project run by volunteers, in partnership with St Anne’s Church, Glenholt, supplying free surplus fresh food & more for all. If you or someone you know is in need, or you just wish to help prevent food waste then we are here for you.

We are here to serve the whole community, including, Glenholt, Roborough, Woolwell, Bickleigh, Belliver, Widewell, Southway, Tamerton Foliot, Derriford, Estover, Thornbury, Eggbuckland, Leigham, Estover, Mainstone and everywhere and anywhere in between that we may have missed!

If you are able to make use of good free fresh surplus food and more, for whatever reason, our volunteers, at Glenholt Community Larder in partnership with St Anne’s Church, are ready to welcome you during our opening hours, which are every Wed and Sat from 11am to 1pm starting from Sat 30 Jan 2021.

No form filling, no vouchers required and you are welcome to collect from us as often as you like. If you need it or you want to help prevent perfectly good food from going to landfill we have it here for all.We will not always know what is available in advance but we aim to include a variety of fruit, veg, salad items, bread, pastries, cakes, toiletries, store cupboard items and maybe even some treats or flowers and probably a few surprise items.

Please bring your own bag(s) to fill.If we have time, we will update our Facebook Page the night before with what is available, so it will be worth “liking” and following our page if you would like to be kept up to date with what we have and what we might be up to next.

We are fully compliant with Covid Government Guidelines to keep all of us and all of you as safe as we can. You will notice we have a one way system in place and hand sanitizer to be used once inside. We also have the track and trace poster if you are using the App, if not there is a notebook just inside the door which we ask you to complete please (just a name and contact no). Track and trace details will not be used for any other purposes. Please do not visit us if you are showing any COVID symptoms or are feeling unwell.

We are more than happy for a family member, friend, neighbour or carer to collect on your behalf.

At the moment we are unable to let anyone in who is not wearing a face mask. If you are exempt from wearing one and would like some food, please contact us in advance and we can arrange to have a bag prepared ready for you to collect from us outside. We are unable to offer a delivery service at present. If you have any questions beforehand please do not hesitate to contact us at any time (we may not get back to you straight away but we will respond as soon as we are able).
